The incident occurred after a speedboat reportedly crashed into the ferry. Rescue operations are ongoing to save the remaining passengers. Authorities are working quickly to handle the situation and ensure everyone’s safety. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis briefed the media regarding the boat mishap. He announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh for family members of deceased.
