43-year-old Joleen Diaz and her 19-year-old daughter Meilani Parks have baffled the internet thinking that they are sisters.
Astoundingly youthful-looking Diaz, who works as a teacher in a local elementary school, says that people often mistake her and her daughter for sisters.
Diaz was quoted in an interview saying, "I was pretty young when I had (my daughter), as it is not entirely impossible that we could be sisters. "
Diaz attributes her unbelievable looks to healthy eating and meticulous skincare. For those desiring to have a youthful skin like hers, Diaz says that she has been maintaining a skincare routine from a young age and has been applying sunscreen whenever she steps out, regardless of the weather.
She also uses Tretinoin, a derivative of Vitamin A on her skin. She says that she rarely drinks alcohol, gets a lot of rest and maintains a balanced, healthy diet.
On being mistaken as Meilani's sister, Diaz says that she does not mind the comparison and shares a strong bond with her.
She says, "Meilani and I have never gone clubbing or partying together and I don't forsee us doing that anytime in near future."
Diaz has been following her skincare regime since she was 13 and make sure Meilani follows it too.
Diaz says that she religiously takes care of her skin, and washes her face everyday in the morning and before going to bed.
