The National Bureau of Investigation of Finland (NBI) arrested the three suspects earlier Tuesday and the Helsinki District Court decided Friday to jail them.
According to NBI, the three men were captured in the Finnish capital region and its surrounding area. The detained suspects have been all identified as Finnish citizens, and at least two of them are native Finns who converted to Islam, said Finnish media.
All of the suspects are alleged to have committed murders with terrorist intent. Two of them are charged to have provided training to commit terrorist crimes, while one is accused to have engaged in recruiting others to commit terrorist activities.
