Stormy Daniels' lawyer is once again seeking to depose President Donald Trump in the porn actress' fight to invalidate a confidentiality agreement she signed days before the 2016 presidential election.
Attorney Michael Avenatti says in a court filing on Friday a judge should reconsider an order delaying the case and allow him to depose Trump and obtain documents in the lawsuit.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, claims she had an affair with Trump in 2006, which he denies. Daniels argues the nondisclosure agreement should be invalidated because Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, signed it, but the president did not.
Cohen was granted the delay after arguing his rights against self-incrimination could be jeopardized because FBI agents raided his home and office in April.
A hearing is scheduled for June 21.
