All commercial establishments and markets were shut. Protesters also prohibited movement of people and vehicles at Keirao, Irilbung and Bamonkampu areas.u00a0There was no report of any untoward incident in area.
Ibomcha and his son were abducted on the night of December 7 and later they were shot dead by KCP-MTF (Kesho Meitei) on December 16.u00a0The shops remained closed as the market looked deserted in Thoubal area.
