FBI arrests immigrant wanted for New York bombing

New York: Ahmad Khan Rahami (28), a naturalised Afghan immigrant wanted for questioning in the Chelsea bombings and the New Jersey explosion was taken into custody on Monday after a shootout with police in New Jersey.


TV footage showed him being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher in Linden, New Jersey.


An official said two cops were shot in the gun battle. The arrest came just hours after police issued a bulletin of Rahami, with an address in Elizabeth.
