The state-owned oil company of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has lit up in the colours of the Indian national flag ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the country. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to arrive in UAE on the evening of February 10. He will emplane for his second leg of the trip to Abu Dhabi at 01.10 pm (local time) from Queen Alia Airport in Amman.
Prime Minister Modi's high-level engagements include bilateral meetings with top UAE leaders and a keynote address at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Sunday, in which India is the guest country. The Prime Minister will reach Abu Dhabi at 8.00 pm (IST), where he will be given a ceremonial reception before meeting the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Presidential palace.
He is likely to have bilateral talks with Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Saturday evening, followed by a signing ceremony of agreements and Memorandum of understanding (MoU)s and a banquet hosted by Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed. The Prime Minister is also expected to meet Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday in Dubai.
