Alabama: Upset over his spouse apparently paying more attention to the animal, 39-year-old Jonathan Edward Medley, allegedly forced himself on the two-year-old male shih tzu.

The incident came to light after his wife made the shocking discovery while spying on her husband since she feared he was being unfaithful to her with another woman.

According to sources, the pet dog has suffered injuries from the alleged sex act. A veterinarian, who is currently treating the animal has confirmed that he is recovering.

Medley, who was arrested for the offence is currently facing a misdemeanor charge, as per Alabama law on bestiality.
