Sex dolls will soon have warm skin in “all the right places” to make the cyborgs even more lifelike. And, according to Matt McMullen, the boss of robot firm, RealDoll, they could even help build stronger relationships.
A new technology is being designed to heat up the bodies of these dolls. Self-heating gloves with heaters in them, an electric blanket type gadget and a well-placed circulatory system taking warmth around the body are all in the running.
Speaking to Daily Star Online, Matt said, “From an intimacy perspective, it (doll) does have one of the qualities of skin, but, one of the things you notice is that the temperature is wrong. It’s cold to the touch,” he said.
“For some people heating is very important to their experience, that it feels real,” said Matt. He added that instead of hindering, cyborgs could actual aid dating and relationships.
