UPPSC Students continue to protest in Prayagraj, jump off police barricades

On November 12, students in Prayagraj protested against the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) exams being held in multiple shifts. Thousands of aspirants gathered outside the UPPSC office, demanding that the Combined State (CS) and Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO) exams be conducted in a single shift, like in the past. They argued that having exams in one shift would make the process fairer and less confusing. It would also reduce stress and make it easier for all candidates to appear for the exams. The protest continued for the fourth straight day on November 14. During the protest, some students jumped over police barricades in frustration. The students are calling for ‘One Day, One Exam’ to ensure better exam conditions for everyone.
