Today on 23rd July, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced her 7th Union Budget 2024 speech. The finance minister announced 9 priorities of the current government which included employment and skilling as one of the key areas of focus. Several employment-linked incentive schemes for employees and employers during her her speech. This encompassed supporting First-Time Job Seekers, Job Creation in the Manufacturing sector, Internship Schemes, Support to employers, Support for Working Women, and skilling and training.
