On July 07, the death toll from the Surat building collapse reached three as rescue teams from SDRF and NDRF recovered bodies from the debris. Despite ongoing efforts, 6-7 individuals are feared trapped under the rubble. The six-storey building, located in Gujarat`s Sachin area, collapsed on July 06. Of the building`s 30 flats, 4-5 were occupied while the remainder were vacant during the incident. Rescue operations continue unabated as authorities work tirelessly to locate and extricate those still missing, highlighting the urgent need for swift and effective response in such devastating emergencies.
