Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, recently alleged flaws in the investigation, sparking controversy after Sheena Bora`s remains went missing from police custody on June 15. In an exclusive interview with ANI, Indrani Mukerjea claimed authorities may have instigated a flawed probe and suggested that Sheena Bora might be alive, contradicting the Mumbai Police`s findings. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been probing the case since 2015, following Indrani`s arrest in August 2015. Indrani, who spent over six years in Mumbai`s Byculla women`s prison, was granted bail by the Supreme Court in May 2022 amidst ongoing legal proceedings.
