Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has decided to invest approximately $400 Mn in India over the next five years. Semiconductor Products President at Semicon India Prabu Raja also said that it is “India’s time to shine”. Foxconn CEO Young Liu is also impressed with India’s vision for the semiconductor industry. Realizing its potential, India is focusing on important objectives of building the overall semiconductor ecosystem. Theme of the Semicon India Conference 2023 is ‘Catalysing India’s Semiconductor Ecosystem’.
