Old Rajendra Nagar's flooded coaching centre claims 3 lives, Students demand justice

In Old Rajender Nagar, a UPSC coaching institute`s basement was flooded after heavy rainfall on July 27. Teams from the Delhi Fire Services and NDRF quickly responded to the emergency. According to DCP Central District M Harsha Vardhan, two female and one male body were recovered from the flood, and several people, including a Delhi Fire Service member, were injured. Following the incident, students protested against the Delhi government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, demanding justice. They also claimed the death toll was underestimated and that more students are missing. The police have detained several individuals and are conducting a thorough investigation. Earlier, on July 22, a 26-year-old civil service aspirant died due to electrocution near Patel Nagar metro station.
