The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting took place at the Ashok Hotel in Delhi on July 18. Leaders of 38 political parties attended the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the parties attending the NDA meeting included AIADMK, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde Group), NCP (Nationalist Congress Party, Ajit Pawar),and many more. This meeting comes on the day when 26 like-minded opposition parties meeting was held for the second time in a month to strategise for the upcoming polls. PM Modi while addressing the meet, explained what NDA stands for and assured that India will become the third largest economy under NDA`s third term.
