Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, on July 25, directed Raigad`s collector to aid people affected by heavy rainfall and floods. He urged everyone to avoid unnecessary travel due to water on roads and in homes in Pune. With Khadakwasla Dam and surrounding areas experiencing heavy rain, he assured readiness with NDRF, SDRF, and Army teams on standby.
