Maharastra CM Eknath Shinde on 11th March inaugurated the first phase of the Mumbai Coastal road between Worli and Marine drive in South Mumbai. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar and other dignitaries were also present at the event. Let us tell you that the work on the ambitious project started on October 13, 2018 and is built at a cost of Rs 13, 983 crores. The high speed corridor stretches for 10.58 km between Marine Drive and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL). After today`s inauguration, a 9.5 km-long stretch would be made operational. Mumbai Coastal road will lead to a significant reduction in the travel time of commuters. Watch video.
