PM Modi criticized the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition and Congress for hindering Maharashtra`s progress. He highlighted the state’s recent development, including new foreign investments, airports, expressways, and over a dozen Vande Bharat trains running. He also mentioned that more than 100 stations are being renovated and rail networks expanded. Modi pointed out that the Congress-led government had delayed key projects, like the Kampa-Warora and Nagpur-Gadchiroli rail lines, which are now progressing under the current government. He accused the opposition of blocking development for decades, preventing progress on projects like the metro, Vadavan Port, and Samriddhi Highway. Modi claimed the Congress is an expert in delaying development and stopping crucial infrastructure projects, calling them the "biggest players of corruption."
