India’s top strategic minds meet US counterparts ahead of PM Modi’s visit to the States

NSA Ajit Doval held a bilateral meeting with US Counterpart Jake Sullivan in Delhi on June 14. India, USA NSAs held delegation-level talks and discussed several issues of mutual interest. Before PM Modi’s visit, India’s top strategic minds, NSA, heads of RAW, NTRO attended the meeting. US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti and CDS Anil Chouhan also attended the meeting. Jake Sullivan was accompanied by a delegation comprising senior US govt officials, leaders from US industry. His visit to India comes in the run-up to PM Modi’s upcoming state visit to the United States. US NSA Jake Sullivan met EAM Jaishankar to discuss the preparedness for the PM’s visit. They also discussed global strategic developments from the perspective of the India-US partnership. United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was on a 2-day visit to India. Notably, Prime Minister Modi will land in the US on June 21 for an official state visit. Preparations in the United States are in full swing for Prime Minister Modi’s state visit. The iconic Reagan Center in Washington DC is getting ready ahead of PM Modi’s visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address a large gathering of Indian-Americans there.
