In a dramatic development in Haryana, the BJP appears to be gaining ground after six rounds of counting. However, the Congress party has raised concerns regarding the slow reporting of results by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Congress leaders Pawan Khera and Jairam Ramesh have voiced allegations that the declared rounds of counting do not align with the actual progress, claiming that results from 10-11 rounds have already been determined while only 4-5 rounds are reflected on the ECI`s website. Ramesh stated, "We are filing a memorandum in the next 5-7 minutes. We are lodging a complaint. We hope that the EC will answer our questions." He accused the ECI of using this delay as a tactic to exert pressure on the administration. As the political landscape intensifies, Congress seeks clarity and transparency in the counting process amid these contentious claims.
