On July 15, a clash erupted between security forces and terrorists in the Dessa region of Doda. Sadly, four soldiers from the Indian Army, including an officer, lost their lives during Doda encounter. PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti criticized J&K DG RR Swain, blaming him for the increased deaths of soldiers since he took office. She questioned claims that militancy in Kashmir had ended, pointing out soldiers continue to die. Mufti asked who should stop infiltration if not security forces, questioning the responsibility of regional parties. She criticized the government`s six-year strategy, asking what it has achieved.
