In an emotional appeal, brother of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash voiced out his concerns about the lack of legal protection for men facing harassment and said despite the gravity of the suicide incident, no arrests have been made in the case so far, and the family is committed to pursuing legal action. He said, "I filed an FIR against some people on the 9th. Those people have fled their homes. A few days ago, there was a video where they said they wouldn`t speak to the media. If this isn`t a system failure, then what is it? My brother`s last wish was that if he gets justice, his ashes should be immersed in the Ganga, but if he doesn`t get justice, they should be thrown into the gutter in front of the court. If even the judges sitting in court are involved in corruption, then one should give up hope for justice."
