Political tension rises over BBC’s controversial documentary “India: The Modi Question”. On Jan 22, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju hit out at the opposition for supporting the documentary. Union iister staed that some people “consider the BBC above the Supreme Court of India”. Talking to Twitter, Rijiju said that minorities in the country are moving ahead positively. A day after the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting blocked the airing of BBC’s documentary. V Muraleedharan MoS MEA said, “Need to investigate the conspiracy.” Condemning the central government`s decision Congress said the move raised doubts about the leadership.
