On Monday, 5th of August, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met with India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, at the Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad. They discussed the current situation in Bangladesh and what steps Hasina should take next. The Indian Air Force has put its personnel on high alert in the eastern regions due to these developments. Additionally, the Air Force and other security agencies are providing protection to Hasina as she is being moved to a secure location. Sheikh Hasina arrived at the Hindon Air Base near New Delhi on Monday evening, flying in a C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft.
