In a shocking incident, Former Bandra MLA and NCP leader Baba Siddque was shot dead in Kherwadi area of Bandra East by 3 unidentified men on 12th October night. He was admitted to the nearby Lilavati Hospital but succumbed to injuries. There was heavy police deployment at the hospital. The firing incident happened at 9:30 pm. Further investigation will be conducted by the crime branch. Baba Siddiqui was one of the most known politicians from Mumbai. Huge crowd was seen outside the hospital while he was admitted in the critical state. Deputy CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis was seen rushing inside the hospital.
