Arvind Kejriwal was arrested in a corruption case registered by CBI in the alleged excise policy scam. A recent Supreme Court oreder granted him bail on September 13. Supreme Court said that prolonged incarceration amounts to unjust deprivation of liberty. The top court granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal on subject to bail bonds of Rs 10 lakhs.
