PM Modi took to X (formerly twitter) and shared photos from his visit to the holy shrine in Tirumala town of Tirupati district.
In his social media post, he said that he offered prayers for the good health, well-being and prosperity of 140 crore Indians.
PM Modi, who visited the temple at around 8 am in traditional South Indian attire, was showered with Vedic blessings by the temple priests.
PM Modi will be departing for Hyderabad, Telangana, after his temple visit which will be voting to elect a new government on November 30.
The Hyderabad police have imposed a number of restrictions and diversions at various places in the city in view of PM Modi's visit and the BJP's electoral road show.
PM Modi was received by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor S Abdul Nazeer upon his arrival at Renigunta airport.
Later in the week, the PM will be heading to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 30 to December 1 to mark his attendance at the World Climate Action Summit. He will also be holding bilateral meetings there.
