The event included the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone for over 24 projects worth Rs 46,300 crore. These projects span across the energy, road, railway, and water sectors.
Nine projects, valued at Rs 11,000 crore, were inaugurated, including seven central and two state government initiatives. PM Modi also laid the foundation for 15 projects worth over Rs 35,300 crore, which include both central and state government undertakings.
The Navnera Barrage and a Smart Electricity Transmission Network were among the projects inaugurated to address energy needs in the state. Key infrastructure initiatives include the railway electrification of various sections and a major bridge under the Delhi-Vadodara Green Field Alignment.
The foundation stone was laid for the construction of Ramgarh Barrage, Mahalpur Barrage, and water transfer systems to improve water supply to critical dams. PM Modi also announced the installation of rooftop solar plants on government buildings, and a large-scale solar park project in Bikaner.
Other major projects include a drinking water transmission line across several districts and the retrofitting of existing water systems in Dholpur and Bharatpur. In his address, PM Modi praised CM Bhajanlal Sharma's leadership, noting the growing support for the BJP's double-engine government model and its success in recent elections.
