There are always mandals that stand out with their unique idols and pandal designs. One such idol was seen in Chennai. The eco-friendly idol was made using at least 5,000 biscuit packets.
Meanwhile, Sri Sathya Sai Ganapathy temple in Bengaluru’s JP Nagar was decorated with fifty lakh coins and over one crore currency notes.

Amritsar-based kite maker Jagmohan Kanojia turned to what he knows the best and created a display with miniature kites which featured Lord Ganapati’s photos. These kites made out of vibrant colours shone bright when held against the blue sky.
