The idol of Ram Lalla, sculpted by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, stands at an impressive 51 inches tall and weighs 1.5 tonnes.
The portrayal captures Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus, crafted from the same stone. This intricately carved idol is the focal point of the sanctum sanctorum in the Ayodhya temple.
A team of priests, led by Lakshmikant Dixit, will guide the main rituals, underscoring the significance of this event at the national level.
