The ED case stems from an FIR lodged against Jain by the Central Bureau of Investigation in 2017 under the Prevention of Corruption Act
After being released on bail, Satyendar Jain took a dig at the BJP and said in a lighter vein that now CM Atishi will also have to go to jail as the rest other leaders have come out
"Arvind Kejriwal does work for the common public. He used to say that the path of politics is difficult and you'll have to face the consequences (Aag ka dariya hai aur doob ke jana hai). Atishi ji you will also have to go to jail. In July 2013, I got a ticket from the AAP and they arrested me that time also. So do not be scare. Keep supporting the Aam Aadmi Party, we will continue to fight against injustice," he said
