Shraddha Shashidhar was born on September 13, 1996 in Chennai. She did her schooling from Army Public School Nashik and St Xavier's School in Bathinda.
The Miss Diva 2017 also had a connection with Mumbai as she graduated in Bachelor's in Mass Media from the prestigious Sophia's College for Women.
The 23-year-old titleholder went on to participate in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant in Las Vegas, USA, where she competed against 71 contestants but failed to qualify in any round.
For her national costume round, she was dressed as 'Radha, the feminine nature of God. Her costume was designed by ace designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and Melvyn Dominic Noronha.
Before winning the Miss Diva title, she also won the Miss TGPC (The Great Pageant Community)- South zone in 2017.
Shashidhar is also a sports enthusiast and has been a state-level basketball player and a sprinter.
Shashidhar also has a philanthropic side as well. She has earlier taught Tibetan refugees in the Lha Charitable Trust.
She was also appointed the 'World Peace Ambassador' by the Wockhardt Foundation in 2018. She says, "Working towards peace, growth, compassion for the mankind. An initiative that I am gladly associating with (sic)."
She is also known for her witty captions in the posts in her official Instagram account. In this picture, she says, "Walking into Friday like this . So should you. Make Monday feel anxious about Friday."
