Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3 LIVE Updates: Maharashtra sees 53.40 pc turnout till 5 pm
A voter turnout of 53.40 per cent was recorded till 5 pm in 11 of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, where polling is underway in the third phase of the general elections on Tuesday, election authorities said. As per the data shared by the authorities, Kolhapur recorded the highest 63.71 per cent polling, followed by Hatkanangale at 62.18 per cent, Latur at 55.38 per cent, Satara at 54.11 per cent, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg at 53.75 per cent, Osmanabad at 52.78 per cent, Sangli 52.56 per cent, Raigad 50.31 per cent, Madha 50 per cent, Solapur 49.17 per cent and Baramati 45.68 per cent.

Voters braved physical limitations to exercise their franchise in the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat on Tuesday, where a person with disabilities used his leg to cast his vote, and another person voted on a stretcher. Dedicated non-resident Gujaratis (NRGs) turned up in large numbers to cast their vote in their hometowns. The state Election Commission ensured that voting was a celebratory exercise by decorating some polling stations like wedding venues and setting up selfie points for voters to make their day memorable.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3 LIVE Updates: About 66.05% voter turnout till 5 pm in 14 LS segments in Karnataka
An estimated 66.05 per cent voter turnout was reported till 5 pm on Tuesday, for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka, in 14 constituencies. The polling began at 7 am and will end at 6 pm. Out of the 14 segments, highest turnout of 72.75 per cent was recorded in Chikkodi, followed by Shimoga 72.07 per cent, and least 57.20 per cent in Gulbarga.

A voter turnout of 42.63 per cent was recorded till 3 pm in 11 of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, where polling is underway in the third phase of the general elections on Tuesday, election authorities said. As per the data shared by the authorities, Kolhapur recorded 51.51 per cent polling, followed by Hatkanangale 49.94 per cent, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg 44.73 per cent, Latur 44.48 per cent, Satara 42.83 per cent, Raigad 41.43 per cent, Sangli 41.30 per cent, Osmanabad 40.92 per cent, Solapur 39.54 per cent, Madha 39.11 per cent and Baramati 34.96 per cent polling. Voting began at 7 am across these constituencies.
