Following the incident, police have detained three people, including the car driver, who was driving rashly.

In the Zenda Chowk area of Kotwali police limits in Nagpur on Friday evening, three people, including a kid, were injured after being struck by a speeding automobile, according to police. Three persons have been held by police after the incident, including the reckless driver of the car.


A three-year-old toddler, a woman, and another individual are among the injured. The accused has been sent for a medical checkup by the police, and a case-filing procedure is currently underway. The automobile was vandalised by the mob following this occurrence.


Gorakh Bhamre, DCP, Nagpur detailing the incident said, "A woman, her child and another person were injured after a speeding car hit them around 8:30 pm at Zenda Chowk area of Kotwali Police Station. People caught one of the accused. Police detained three youths and the car driver in connection with the case. Liquor bottles and narcotic substances were seized from the car. Medical tests of the accused are being conducted and a case is being registered."


Earlier on May 19, a juvenile had run over the two IT workers who were riding a bike with his fancy Porsche, killing them instantly. The catastrophe on May 19 night claimed the lives of Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhia, two young Madhya Pradesh IT workers.
