Mumbai has been patiently waiting for some heavy rains in the month of August but it has not lived up to expectations. The past few days of this month has not really seen a good amount of rainfall in the city.
Mumbai, although, did receive good rainfall on August 14 which was 54 mm of rains.
According to SkymetWeather, while Santa Cruz has recorded 0.6 mm of rains, Colaba has seen 6 mm of rains in the last 24 hours, beginning 8.30 am on August 17.
The weathermen at SkyMet have also predicted weather conditions to be similar in Mumbai and so the city can have a chance of witnessing some light showers in the next 24 to 48 hours. By August 21, the rainfall is supposed to increase. Weather is predicted to stay below 30 degrees.
