To further ease Covid-19 restrictions in the state, the Madhya Pradesh government on Friday, announced the lifting of all restrictions put earlier in the state. Schools, colleges and coaching centres that have been allowed to run with 50 per cent capacity will now be permitted to open with their full strength. All political, social, religious, business, sports activities, among others will be allowed to function at full capacity across the state.Rallies and all kind of fairs will also be allowed to run in the state while cinema, sports, and business gathering will be allowed to function at its full capacity.

India reports 50,407 new Covid cases
Continuing a decline, India reported 50,407 new Covid-19 cases and 804 deaths in last 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry on Saturday. The new fatalities increased the nationwide death toll to 5,07,981. Meanwhile, the active Covid cases have reduced to 6,10,443, which constitute 1.64 per cent of the country’s total positive cases. The recovery of 1,36,962 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 4,14,68,120. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 97.37 per cent.
