It happened on Saturday at around three in the morning in Baghmara, which is part of the Mufassil police station area. Nine people were riding in the automobile when it crashed fatally after leaving a wedding.
Five people died instantly, according to Kamlesh Paswan, the in-charge of the Mufassil police station. The injured were taken to Sadar Hospital for medical attention without delay. Unfortunately, after being taken to Saheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital in Dhanbad, one seriously injured person passed away from their injuries in spite of medical attention.
There was some small comfort in the tragedy, as the two children involved in the incident were said to be in stable condition.
Sagir Ansari (31), Md. Yusuf Miyan (72), Imtiyaz Ansari (47), Subhan Ansari (31), Yakub Ansari (62), and Aftab Ansari (35), who were all passengers in the unfortunate car, were the names of the deceased victims.
Anil Singh, the Giridih Sadar Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO), said that the car's occupants were from the Thoria hamlet, which is located in the Birni police station area. They were on their way home after attending a party at Tikodih, which is around 40 km away when the disaster happened.
According to preliminary investigations, it's possible that the driver fell asleep behind the wheel, causing the deadly collision. In an attempt to determine the exact cause of the accident and the conditions that resulted in the tragic loss of life and serious injuries in this upsetting event, authorities have launched additional investigations.
In another incident from Maharashtra's Nagpur, close to Sakkardara Lake, an irresponsibly driven SUV crashed with scooters, killing 23-year-old Gaurav Raut and gravely injuring Varsha Kharabe (48) and her daughter Divyanshi (22). The SUV struck the mother-daughter pair as they were riding their motorbikes home after their Diwali shopping. Raut was riding his scooter behind them when the SUV hit him at the same time, instantly killing him. After the SUV flipped and collided with an electric pole, the driver left the scene. They hurried the injured people to a private hospital. Under IPC Section 304(A), Sakkardara Police filed a case and are still conducting their investigation.
