While addressing a rally in Uttar Pradesh, Owaisi said, "What do you have to do with what our Muslim women wear? If you don’t want to wear anything please go ahead. SC stated in a judgement that the right to choice is a Fundamental Right. People have the choice to wear what they want. When Asaduddin Owaisi can go into the Parliament with beard and cap, why can’t Muslim girls go to school wearing hijab or niqaab?"
#WATCH I pray that our sisters fighting for their right to wear hijab are successful in their fight. Grave violation of the Constitution's Art 15, 19 & 21 is being committed in Karnataka.
