A differently-abled man in Ghaziabad, was allegedly murdered by his friends with a pair of scissors after he raised objections against casteist slurs.


The incident took place on November 21, when the deceased, identified as Sachin, was abused over his caste by his friends. Sachin, was killed when he stood up against his friends, said an India Today report


According to reports, the deceased was having a party with his friends.

“The accused smothered the man and stabbed him to death before setting the body ablaze. The victim's brothers - Sandip and Vishal - grew worried when they were unable to locate him,” said Circle officer Avinash Kumar, as quoted by the report.

On December 3, Sandip and Vishal saw a skeleton and charred clothes in a vacant plot. The duo later approached the police after they identified the clothes.

The accused identified as Saurabh, Vivek and Ravi have been arrested. Sachin, the fourth accused, is still on the run.
