A massive fire broke out at a paint manufacturing plant on the Sohna Route near the Dhatir village in Haryana's Palwal on Monday evening, officials said.


However, no injury or casualty was reported in the incident. As per the fire department officials, the incident took place at 7:30 p.m.


On receiving the information, fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire. The manufacturing plant got completely damaged, officials said.


Traffic on the Sohna-Palwal route was also halted due to the dousing operation. The reason behind the fire is not ascertained yet, they added.

More details are awaited.

Earlier on Sunday, a fire broke out at the Advanced Eye Centre of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, with the fire brigade pressed to action to douse it.

No casualties were reported.
