Mails sent using Russian servers
Over 100 schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threats via email on Wednesday morning, prompting an investigation pointing to a Russian server as the possible source. Initial findings reveal the use of a single IP address to send threats to all schools.
According to another news agency report. Delhi Police's Cyber team has joined the probe into the Delhi school bomb scare, noting that the email address used had a Russian domain. However, confirmation regarding the email's origin is pending. The Police are tracing the IP address, despite the common use of VPN connections to conceal it. Nevertheless, the Cyber team is optimistic about tracking it down and suggests the involvement of the Dark Web.
Multiple Delhi Police teams are working on different aspects of the investigation, collaborating with authorities from Noida, Ghaziabad, and Delhi.
