After an 11-day search and investigation, Gurugram Police has found the body of former model Divya Pahuja in a canal in Tohana, Haryana. After the body was removed from the canal and identified, it was estimated that it had been there for eleven days, stated a report in ANI.

According to the report, the primary accused, Balraj Gill, responsible for the disposal of the body, was arrested from Kolkata airport and is being taken back to Gurugram. Ravi Banga, another accused person, is still at large.
"The accused in the murder of former model Divya Pahuja, Balraj Gill, was taken into custody from Kolkata airport on Thursday. He had gone missing after abandoning his car near the Patiala bus stand. Ravi Banga, another accused, is still absconding," Varun Dahiya, Gurugram ACP (Crime), told ANI.
The Gurugram Police Department had already announced the recovery of the car allegedly used to transfer the victim's body. The truck was seen on a surveillance camera near a toll plaza on its way to Patiala. The car's involvement was confirmed by its licence plate and colour, indicating its connection to the murder, the ANI report stated.
The inquiry is still underway, and three people have been arrested in connection with the murder, including Balraj Gill. The attackers were seen on CCTV dragging the victim's body from the hotel to the automobile. As the inquiry progresses, the recovery of Divya Pahuja's body is a crucial step in the case.
"The car was captured in a security camera as being parked near the toll plaza. We learnt that the vehicle was being driven towards Patiala. We were trying to trace the vehicle that was used in the crime," Karan Singh, constable, Crime Branch of Gurugram Police, told ANI previously.
He added, "This is the car (used in the crime). We confirmed it as the one from the number plate and colour. The body was transported in this car and dumped."
Divya Pahuja was reportedly used as a mole in notorious gangster Sandeep Gadoli's fake encounter and was arrested in the case as well along with her mother. She had reportedly been sextorting her partner, the cops had told mid-day.
