Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya asserted on Thursday that divisiveness is ingrained in the Congress' DNA, following allegations of pro-Pakistan slogans raised by supporters of a Congress leader in the Karnataka legislature complex.

At a press conference in Nagpur, Maharashtra, Surya, a Lok Sabha member from Bengaluru South, accused the Congress of being the original party to divide the country. He claimed that divisiveness is a core element of the Congress party, reported PTI.
For the unversed, on Tuesday, supporters of Congress leader Syed Naseer Hussain were accused of shouting 'Pakistan zindabad' slogans at Karnataka's Vidhana Soudha housing the state legislature and secretariat.
Speaking on the incident, Surya, said, "Divisiveness is inherent in the DNA of the Congress party. It would be a mistake to hope for anything else other than this from the Congress."
According to the report, Surya also announced that BJP President JP Nadda will address a 'Namo Maha Yuva Sammelan' event in Nagpur on March 4. According to Surya, president of the BJP's Yuva Morcha, more than one lakh youngsters from Maharashtra are scheduled to attend the event.

Surya voiced confidence in the BJP's ability to dominate the next Lok Sabha elections in South India. He projected that the BJP would win all 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka and have unprecedented success in Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Furthermore, he predicted that the BJP would gain Lok Sabha MPs in Kerala and see an increase in vote share in Andhra Pradesh, the report added.
"The BJP will win all the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka and get a historic mandate in Telangana and Tamil Nadu," Surya said.
Reportedly, the Bengaluru South BJP MP attributed the saffron party's success in previous Lok Sabha elections to the significant contribution of the country's youth. He highlighted that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prioritized youth-centric development over the past decade, which has resonated with first-time voters seeking change.
