The locals soon gathered, but instead of trying to rescue the man trapped underneath the truck, called the police and a crane.
An Indian Army bus, transporting personnel belonging to the Brigade of Guards regiment, was passing by and they stopped at the spot after noticing the commotion.
The armymen got off the bus and together lifted the truck with their bare hands. Thankfully, the paan stall vendor had survived and he was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
