The Oman Air WY 204 on Thursday evening was delayed for around two hours due to an unruly passenger.

The passenger who is believed to have an Indian Nationality did not agree to put on the seat belt which resulted in the delay.

"The passenger was creating a ruckus as soon as he boarded the flight and it was becoming increasingly difficult for the crew and the airline security to handle him. He was therefore, offloaded." said an Airport Official.

In yet another incident, an arrival flight AI 144 was given priority medical landing. This flight had arrived from Newark, New Jersey at 4.50 pm on medical emergency.

A female passenger Varshaben Patil, fell ill on board. The on duty MIAL doctor conducted the preliminary treatment and she was advised hospitalisation which Patel denied. Air India doctor, then immediately conducted a quick check after which she was allowed to fly to Ahmedabad by the same flight.
