The superintendent of Kotbalwal jail in Jammu district had moved the application to transfer Naveed, and his accomplices - Showkat Ahmad Bhat and Khurshid Ahmad Bhat - to the observation block instead of the general barrack with other inmates.
The prison official pleaded that other inmates could pose a threat to the lives of three accused. Judge Y.P. Kotwal allowed the transfer.
On Tuesday, police arrested the owner-cum-conductor of the truck that had carried the LeT terrorists to Udhampur from Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district.
The LeT terrorists had on August 5 attacked a BSF bus, killing two troopers and injuring 11, in Udhampur district.
