Two Andhra Pradesh government officials were arrested today in separate incidents for allegedly accepting bribes of varying amounts by the ACB.


The duo are identified as L S Appa Rao, Assistant Engineer, Andhra Pradesh Housing Board (APHB), and S Kotaiah, Panchayat Secretary in Polampalli village in Krishna district.


Rao demanded Rs 10,000 from the complainant for extending an official favour while Kotaiah Rs 15,000, ACB officials said. While Rao was trapped in his office, Kotaiah at his residence.
