The police have arrested three persons including a brother-sister duo in connection with alleged trafficking and rape of a 15 years old girl from Bhiwandi in the district.

The girl was repeatedly raped between August 17 and 20, said the police PRO Sukhada Narkar in Thane. Asfaque Nissar Ahmed Sheikh (31), a resident of Marol Pipeline area in Mumbai, his sister Sania alias Shailadabano Sheikh (30) and Irshad Mohammad Makbul Ansari (21) from Andheri have been arrested.
According the victim, on August 17, Sania, who knew her, took her to her house in Marol Pipeline area. She was held captive there and next day taken to Irshad's house in Andheri where Irshad and two unidentified men allegedly raped her. On August 19 and 20 she was taken to a lodge in Powai where two other unknown persons raped her, she said.
One of them told her that he had paid money for her. Shanti Nagar police from Bhiwandi are conducting further probe.
