Even as more wealth tumbles out of Puttaparthy's secret chambers, the temple town remains grandly decked up for Guru Poornima celebrations and the wealth won't stop coming in.

Three days into the celebrations, the temple hundi has recorded a collection of over Rs 5 crore. Over two lakh devotees thronged the Prashanti Nilayam to get darshan of Sathya Sai Baba's Samadhi.

"There was a huge crowd on the main day, but even after that devotees continue to throng the temple. There are about 3,000 foreigners visiting the temple everyday and the city has witnessed a floating crowd of about 8,000 devotees," claims a source from Puttaparthy.

More treasure
All eyes were on the team, which entered the residential chamber Yajur Veda Mandir of Puttaparthy to make an inventory.

"The Ananthapur District officials, along with members of the Sathya Sai Central trust have found about 35 kg of gold, 350 kg of silver and Rs 2 crore in cash. Yesterday, the officials found about 2 kg of gold, 1 diamond set, 735 kg of silver and Rs 35 lakh cash, along with an undisclosed amount of foreign currency," said a source within the temple.

However, many devotees awaited the grand revelation announced by ardent Sathya Sai Baba devotee Isaac Tigrett. He had earlier made a public announcement claiming that he would reveal the secrets left behind by the late Baba on Guru Poornima.

Tigrett remained unavailable for comment on the same. Trust officials meanwhile made the inventory public, announcing the quantity of treasure that has been recovered.
